At Charlotte Health Center, our chiropractors treat the underlying causes of pain and help reduce dependencies on drugs that interfere with the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
Charlotte Health Center provides quality chiropractic care for patients with a wide range of conditions including neck and back pain, migraines, arthritis and more. We tailor our approach for each patient using various non-invasive techniques including spinal adjustment, spinal decompression, the Thompson technique, and upper cervical care.
After seeing several specialists who didn’t really know what to do with me other than give me so many different medicines (which gave me horrible side effects) I decided to try something else. Dr. Matt and Dr. Cameron have given me my life back. From severe neck pain to non-stop migraines I am excited to say in the month I have been going to Charlotte Health Center I haven’t taken any of those meds, and I haven’t had a migraine – which is simply phenomenal. I can finally see the light, and I truly believe in what they do!!

My wife and I have been going to the Charlotte Health Center for over 2 years. Dr. Matthew McAlees has helped both of us tremendously. Their holistic style health care focuses on healing and correcting your health problems with chiropractic care, supplements, diet, exercise, etc. This is vastly different approach than traditional doctors who want to medicate you with pills ever time you sneeze! He is the only Doctor we go to now. His staff are also friendly and they have business hours to accommodate most people’s busy schedule.

WOW …I started my treatment with Dr Cameron a couple months ago and I am NO longer In PAIN! I had spent the last 7 months in daily pain from a lower back injury – herniated L5 disk – and could not get much relief at all…. That is until a friend referred me here to Dr Matt & Dr Cameron! I am very thankful that I get to do life pain free and get to feel & experience my energy levels increase, along with the level of daily activity! After considering other invasive options that were presented by my spine doctor and primary doctor , this treatment HAS worked WONDERS and surgery was avoided! Not to mention, the risks, recovery time, expense & loss of time from work that takes place from surgical options! I can say wholeheartedly, I am Truly blessed, humbled & honored to be under the care of such talented, skilled, knowledgeable & caring professionals!

Based on the philosophy that the spine is the foundation of the body, the Gonstead technique focuses on recognizing when the upper and lower portions of the spine are out of alignment. These misalignments are then corrected using a variety of chiropractic methods.
In this technique, biochemical failures are addressed in order to fix any areas of the spine that are found to be out of alignment. Injuries incurred while playing sports and in other methods are addressed using manual palpations and types of hands-on techniques.
This is one of the most common methods of addressing back, neck and other types of pain. A spring-loaded mechanical device called an Activator Adjusting Instrument is held in the hand to deliver impulses that are both quick and low in force to particular points on the body.
Using a Thompson Drop Table that utilizes specialized drop segments and pneumatic drivers, our staff is able to easily adjust your spine.
This method goes beyond simply correcting the alignment of the spine and uses manipulation to improve the body’s function.
We use this technologically advanced tool to deliver pulses to your spine so that it can be properly adjusted. Since it can deliver these pulses 12 times each second while targeting a specific area, it is highly effective.
The top two bones in the neck are called the upper cervical spine. By paying special attention to this area, we can improve communications from the brain to the rest of the body.
Focusing on pressure points along the spine, soft touch treatment seeks to relax the muscles to allow your spine to adjust naturally.
This method is used to stimulate the fibers of your muscles. Using short bursts, whole body vibration (WBV) sends the brain reflexive signals and causes your muscles to contract, increasing their strength and mobility.
We often recommend blood and urine testing to help guide us in the correct care and treatment plan for your needs.
This method goes beyond simply correcting the alignment of the spine and uses manipulation to improve the body’s function.
In an effort to support our patients, we offer true body detoxification. It’s designed to safely and effectively remove toxins from your body.
Spinal decompression is designed to alleviate negative pressure within the spine to allow bulging or herniated discs to reposition themselves naturally.
